Blackboard is a web-based learning management system that Nixa Schools use to extend learning beyond the traditional classroom. With Blackboard, teachers and students collaborate with web tools such as discussion boards, audio/video tutorials, virtual class meetings, email, and online quizzes/tests. Since Blackboard is web-based, users have access from most Internet enabled platforms, including computers, iPads, tablets, and smart phones (Blackboard Mobile Learn apps available for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry).
