Nixa Junior High Science Night was such a success last spring for 7th graders that teachers decided to expand it to include 8th grade this year! Teachers are excited to see where the 8th graders will take their learning this year, and they are also looking forward to seeing what exciting ideas the 7th graders come up with. Thank you to the Nixa community for supporting our students and attending Science Night last year. Be sure to keep an eye out for information about when this year’s Science Night will take place. Sodexo Maintenance Manager Brandon Thomas is a Nixa graduate and cares deeply about the school district he works for. That dedication shows as he and his crew fix broken doors, hang SMART TVs, and get the high school gym ready for events like a Homecoming Dance. They work in every building and plow every parking lot when the snow falls. While few people notice them in hallways or classrooms, the district can’t operate without their skill set and know-how. Thank you to the entire Sodexo team for all your hard work!
 

High Pointe Elementary families came together to celebrate the joy of reading and the importance of literacy! Students and their families enjoyed donuts together while participating in a variety of literacy-themed activities, including fun games and listening to a story.

High Pointe staff love welcoming families into the school and creating opportunities for them to be part of their child’s educational journey. Building a strong connection between home and school plays an important role in supporting student success.
