Nixa Public Schools and CoxHealth have teamed up to officially rename the athletics and events campus at Nixa High School, now known as The Complex, presented by CoxHealth. The ribbon cutting kicked off the night as state-ranked Nixa hosted state-ranked Carthage in the first football game of the year. The overflow crowd enjoyed every minute of the action as Nixa won 42-13.

- JUNIOR HIGH
The Nixa community came together last week to cut the ribbon and officially celebrate the completion of construction at the junior high. The project began in late June 2025, launching a major renovation designed to improve learning spaces and provide new opportunities for students and activities.
The updated lobby features design elements similar to those at the Aetos Center, creating a welcoming and modern space for students, families, and community members. Thank you to Dewitt & Associates, Inc., Dake Wells Architecture, Shaffer and Hines, True Engineering, and RTM for your work on this project, and thank you to the Nixa community for supporting your schools!

Students were welcomed back to their classrooms on Tuesday by teachers, staff, and administrators, all excited to begin a new school year! - JTSD
June at JTSD is usually reserved for special learning. This year, the staff decided to capitalize on the centennial celebration of the “Mother Road” to fully engage their students in a piece of American history right in our own backyard. Each grade took a piece of the famed road to learn about the cars, attractions, and landmarks, as well as the social impacts of 66. Everyone presented their learning to families during Science Night, which included a car show, a classic diner, and even a JTSD version of Cadillac Ranch.
