Our elementary and intermediate schools offer parent-teacher conferences in the fall to discuss their students' progress. In the springtime, our schools hold a showcase event where parents can come in and see examples of their children’s work, such as art projects, and spend time in their classroom. At Summit and Inman, they incorporate those activities while welcoming incoming 4th graders and their parents. Inman Intermediate's "Route to Inman" is a fun, low-stress event for families.

Over the summer, Nixa High School Junior Arianna Baker attended a leadership seminar where she got the idea to bring together students, businesses, and non-profits in Nixa. The goal was to give back to our community and help students connect with local leaders and better understand what makes their businesses thrive.

Elementary schools around the district, including JTSD, recently celebrated the 100th and 101st days of school. This milestone number gives teachers a fun and engaging way to connect math and science lessons to 100 days of learning.
