  • Interact Club

    The InterAct Club will be meeting this week on Thursday, September 20th, at 7:00am-7:20am in Mr. Darter's Room (250) and at 2:35-3:00pm in Ms. Harris' Room (255). All are welcome to attend! Come learn about upcoming service projects, sign up for t-shirts, meet new friends!

    Volunteer Opportunity

    Students interested in volunteering with the Good Shepard Hospice will have the opportunity to talk with them during STAR on Tuesday, September 25th. There is a sign up sheet in the counseling center.


    Attention Juniors

    Interested juniors should sign up now for the PSAT.  This is the only way to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.  The PSAT will be given here on October 10th, 1st hour- STAR.  Sign up now on School Pay under "PSAT--October 10, 2018."


    College Visits

    The following colleges will be visiting with students during STAR.     Juniors and Seniors  

    We will be taking a group college visit to Drury and Missouri State.  The Drury trip is September 18th.  Space is limited to 40 students.  The Missouri State trip is September 27th.  Space is limited to 60 students.  Students must sign the permission slip on School Pay.  Save the confirmation number from School Pay in case there are questions.  


    Writers' Guild

    This is a club for anyone who enjoys writing or is looking to hone their writing skills. We work on and share feedback on poetry, short stories, creative essays, plays, song lyrics, or even novels and work on publishing a literary magazine cataloging and displaying our and Nixa's best work. Meetings are in Mr. Lawless's Room (256) Mondays after school from 2:30-3:30.



    Attention Class of 2018: If you ordered a yearbook, you or your parents may pick it up at the NHS front office until Sept. 20. Don't delay! Get it today!


    Attention students, ESPECIALLY SENIORS: If you purchased a 2018 yearbook last year and you still haven't received it, please come by room 221 during STAR as by Friday, Sept. 14, to claim your yearbook.

  • Parking sign Student Parking Pass

    Parents:  Fill out form on School Pay   complete the information and make payment.  Parking is $30 


    Students:  Sign into your Google account and fill out this form 


    You must show your driver's license--NO spaces will be issued to unlicensed students.  Once all forms have been verified you will pick your parking spot.  You will not be able to change your parking spot later on.
