Accessing Your Child's Bus Information

  • Which bus does my child ride?

    Bus information will be available in the parent portal. If your child(ren) rode the bus last year, the bus information in the portal should be accurate. However, if changes to last year’s bus service are made through the current student registration process (new address, need bus service, no longer need bus service), the information will be updated as it is received by Alliance Bus Company and may not be immediately up to date.

    Transportation information is located on the PowerSchool Parent Portal under "Transportation Info." This information will NOT be available in the stock PowerSchool App. It will be located in the PowerSchool app icon on the Nixa Public Schools App or on the PowerSchool Parent Portal link below.


    How to view bus information on PowerSchool

    1. Login to PowerSchool Parent Portal.
    2. Under the ‘Navigation’ menu on the left side of the screen and scroll down until you see the yellow bus and select ‘Transportation Info.’
    3. In the ‘Transportation Info,’ parents can see bus information for summer school, including the bus number, description, departure time, etc.
      • As a reminder, this data takes 72 hours to be entered into the Parent Portal from when the parent/guardian completes their Summer School Registration.
