PHOTOGRAPHY - 255 (Repeatable)

This course is designed to educate the student on all aspects of photography with the focus of work done in black and white film. Students will learn the art of taking a photo and developing the film as well as printing the photo. A manual 35mm SLR camera is recommended. Cameras are available for check out from the instructor with a signed camera agreement. Students will be responsible for supplying their own package of 5”x7” photo paper. It must be black and white darkroom develop paper. This may be purchased at Bedford Camera and Video (Ilford glossy 5x7 darkroom photo paper).
Students will be expected to engage in off-campus activities outside of the day. Homework may include taking photos at off-campus locations throughout the semester. Students must be highly motivated to work independently in this course.
