This course applies business management principles learned in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management in a “hands-on” opportunity to work in our school-based business THE BIRDHOUSE. Through class activities, students will explore related careers, assume leadership roles and practice skills used in the workplace. Students will serve and interact with customers, receive and manage currency, keep virtual and physical product inventory, purchase products, keep records of financial information, and promote and advertise store products. Students are expected to perform all activities associated with day to day operations of a business. As with any job, good attendance is important and expected.
