    National Honor Society Meeting

    We will be having a mandatory National Honor Society meeting in the 3rd floor lecture hall on Wednesday, Nov 14, 2018. You may come either before school (7:10-7:25am) or after school (2:40-3pm). We will be discussing our holiday philanthropy project(s) and a few other things. Please remind your friends who are NHS members!
    You are excused if you are ill or will be gone both before and after school for a school-related event. Please contact Mrs. McGoon beforehand if this is the case (room 268), as you are still responsible for the information from this meeting.

    College Signing

    Nixa High School will host a college signing in the library on Wednesday, November 14 at 2:45 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend. The following athletes will be signing for the indicated sport and college/university:

    Missouri Girls State

    The application for Missouri Girls State is now available. If you are a junior in high school and are interested in attending, complete and return your application to the counseling center by January 4th. We choose the top two candidates to nominate for Missouri Girls State. More information can be found at

    The application for Missouri Boys State is now available. If you are a junior in high school and are interested in attending, complete and return your application to the counseling center by February 1st.     Nixa High School Bowling

    Do you like to go bowling with friends? Do you think bowling is fun??

    No matter your skill level, we want you to join us and be a part of the Nixa Eagles Bowling Team. Have fun learning a lifelong sport, receive coaching, and participate in friendly competition against other area schools.

    Sign up meeting December 17, 2018 from 4-6 pm at Century Lanes. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

    The First Annual Nixa/Ozark 9 Pin No Tap Fundraiser to benefit High School Bowling Teams


    • When: Saturday December 15, 2018

    • Where: Century Lanes

    • Time: 12:00 PM (Check in at 11:15am)

    • Format: Four-person teams will consist of youth and adults together with a minimum of 1 adult per team and a maximum of two. Each team will bowl three games of 9 pin no tap. There will be trophies awarded for the team with the highest pin total.

    • Cost: Pre-register with a cost of $10 a person. Registration the day of will be $15.00. All payments will be taken the day of. Open to all ages and skill level. We will have items to raffle off and possible silent auction items. All proceeds from this day of fun will go directly to the Nixa and Ozark bowling teams to purchase uniforms and equipment as needed. Get your teams together and come spend the day with us. If you are unable to fill a full team, we would love to have you come bowl with us as an individual. We will be able to fill teams as we go.

    • Prizes will be awarded to the high adult and high youth series of the day.



    Comic Book Club

    The Comic Book club meets in Mrs. Harris' room (#255) every Wednesday after school from 2:35 to 3:15. Attend a meeting to learn more.  


    Writers' Guild

    This is a club for anyone who enjoys writing or is looking to hone their writing skills. We work on and share feedback on poetry, short stories, creative essays, plays, song lyrics, or even novels and work on publishing a literary magazine cataloging and displaying our and Nixa's best work. Meetings are in Mr. Lawless's Room (256) Mondays after school from 2:30-3:30. 


    Attention Juniors

    If you have not signed up for your Career Fair choices, please check your student email and find the email with the link to the google document.  Please register as soon as possible as ALL juniors will attend on November 16.

    The only exception is OTC students who have a choice to attend.

  • Parking sign Student Parking Pass

    Parents:  Fill out form on School Pay   complete the information and make payment.  Parking is $30 


    Students:  Sign into your Google account and fill out this form 


    You must show your driver's license--NO spaces will be issued to unlicensed students.  Once all forms have been verified you will pick your parking spot.  You will not be able to change your parking spot later on.
