Welcome to High Pointe Elementary! 

It is an honor and pleasure to serve as your principal. This is my 25th year in the district and 11th year at High Pointe Elementary. Working with students and developing their academic and leadership skills is a passion of mine. The staff at High Pointe is top notch, genuine, caring, and willing to go above and beyond to help your child be successful. 

Success in education is a collaborative effort between students, parents, teachers, staff and the community.  At High Pointe Elementary, we value this partnership and welcome volunteers and/or assistance in our school programs. High Pointe is proud to have a supportive Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) which invites you to become involved in school activities and events. Annual events consist of a Back-to-School Bash, Fall Festival, classroom parties, teacher appreciation, and a Spring Carnival. Other events throughout the year include family movie nights, skate nights and fundraising activities.  Karla McCullough is our PTA board president for the 2022-23 school year.  You may contact PTA at hpePTAnixa@gmail.com with any questions.

Hello! Welcome to High Pointe! I am honored to be your child’s Assistant Principal here at High Pointe Elementary. We have a wonderful school filled with teachers who truly love working with your child each day. I am a Nixa graduate; therefore, I am very excited to be serving a community that has given so much to me throughout the years! 

I am passionate about education and helping each individual child meet their full potential. It is my goal to ensure every child feels safe, receives high-quality instruction, and looks forward to coming to school each day! I wholeheartedly believe students are more successful in school when parents are actively involved in their education. The partnership between students, teachers, administrators, and parents can truly make a difference in a student's success. 

I am looking forward to an outstanding school year!
