Artrageous

  • Artrageous

Artrageous is a troupe of misfit artists, singers, dancers and musicians who started as friends doing street theatre in Vancouver. Together they started the “All and Everything Theater”, a non-profit Children’s Theater focusing on Children’s Entertainment, Street Theater and Life-sized Bunraku Puppetry.

In the late 80’s, on Christmas Day, their hand built theater building, with all their props and puppets, burnt to the ground. Instead of packing it in, they created a new act; this troupe has performed for the likes of Sir Richard Branson, Steve Forbes, General Colin Powell… and in venues and events all over the world from India to Thailand, Paris to Austria, performing at over 2000+ events in their history.

As people who live and breathe the Arts, creativity, community, and inspiration, they created Artrageous to pay tribute to their roots and share their passion with the world. A show that focuses on all the things they believe in and everything that got them to this place.

Art, Music, Theater, Singing, Dancing, Audience Interaction… All on one stage. All done as a team of friends seeing the world and sharing a love of the Arts.

Imagine witnessing the creativity of an artist creating a masterpiece before your eyes in mere moments. Combined with captivating vocals, intricate choreography and exciting music, Artrageous takes you on a visual journey and a high-energy ride of inspiration, creativity, and engagement.

Our troupe of artists, musicians, singers and dancers pay tribute to a variety of art forms, icons and musical genres throughout the evening. The result ~ A uniquely entertaining, Masterpiece show culminating in a gallery of fabulous finished paintings.

A signature of the Artrageous Troupe, from the very beginning of their long history, is interaction and engagement… so be prepared to be a part of the show. Each show is as unique as each audience and we couldn’t do it without you!

An Intimate Evening with Priscilla Presley

  • Priscilla Presley

Priscilla Presley has often been called an Icon of the Entertainment World. Now, in this all-new “Evening With,” Priscilla Presley is finally going to tell HER story of the years with the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Priscilla was the only one who actually married the King, and she feels it is time to tell her story. Even though she was only fourteen years old when she met Elvis, her memories are clear and tell a fascinating tale of a young girl who, for reasons she finally explains, was someone whom Elvis wanted to know. And for years after they met, they were inseparable until his passing in 1977.

Priscilla in this hour-plus Evening shares film clips that have been private to her, and those include wedding footage, home movies, and clips from her own personal career in film, and on television in the famed series, “Dallas” on which she starred for five years.

She speaks of Elvis as a husband, as a father, and the challenge of being married to the greatest Rock and Roll star in the world! She talks of how she coped with the attention and the “women” who always seemed to be in their life. It wasn’t easy for a teenager to deal with such fame, for this was something she never imagined would become a part of her life. The Evening is strewn with many film clips of their life together, plus private home movies of life at home, on vacation, and the intimate time off that they spent together, and with their only child, Lisa Marie.

As glamorous was her life, it was not always easy, and as Elvis got older, she had to learn how to understand all that surrounded his fame. And then when the end came, she tells, in detail, what it was like to deal with his death.

It is an evening of magic, memories, and the truth of what it was really like to be the wife of probably the most famous performer in the world.

Most important to her as well, is the dream and work to keep his legacy alive by appearing in these “Evenings With,” as well as managing one of the most famous tourist locations in America, Graceland.

At the end of the show, the audience has their own opportunity to ask questions of Priscilla and she is always happy to tell her truth as she lived with the King, and at the same time, had to maintain her own life and legacy that accompanies the name, Presley.
