Inman Intermediate Library Media Center!

  • LMC 2

There is always something fun happening at the Inman Intermediate Library!  In the mornings, before school starts each day, students come in to read, look at magazines, play on the computers and enjoy Maker Spaces including Legos,  K-Nex, puzzles, and board games.  During classes, students will share book talks, learn topics such as web safety and how to make ethical choices online such as citing sources and plagiarism.   The students will also discuss ways to find a good book and explore the list of Mark Twain award winners for each year.

  • A big THANK YOU goes to two organizations that have made our Library Media Center a great place to be.

Inman Parent Teacher Association (PTA) contributed funds last year to purchase a seating area for students to use when they visit the library at class time and free read time.

    PTA

Nixa Education Foundation (NEF) provided a $500 grant to allow a second reading area to be purchased this year. The students have already been putting it to good use.

    NEF

Thank you to these two great organizations! They are two of the many reasons Nixa is such a great place to be!
