Ms. Mandy Patton

Over the past 12 years, I have had the pleasure of working at JTSD  and although the name has changed the feeling of community is still as strong as ever. When you find a place you call home you just can't go anywhere else.

This is my 15th year as a certified speech-language pathologist  after graduating from Southwest Missouri State University in 2001 with a master's degree in communication sciences and disorders with an emphasis in speech-language pathology.

Nixa Public Schools have provided me with a unique and diverse learning experience in the developmental speech and language classroom. This type of classroom allows me to provide language support in the areas of written expression and reading. My teaching style includes a hands on approach through art, literature and play-based therapy.
