• XLT is a before and after school program that provides a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for youth during non-school hours by expanding and enriching the opportunities for learning, social development and recreation.

XLT staff are facilitators of positive development through the process of activities, games, spontaneous play and one-on-one interactions. The program integrates a balance of child-centered activities, homework assistance and enrichment programming combined with choices for free time.

eXtended Learning Time is available Monday through Friday when school is in session. The hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. to the beginning of school and after school until 6:30 p.m at Espy, Mathews, Century, JTSD, and High Pointe.  Afterschool care is available for 5th and 6th grade students at Summit Intermediate until 6:30 pm. (Inman students are bused to Summit).

XLT provides care for AM, PM, and AM/PM.  Our Friday PM only option is designed to serve those students who only need care during the hour that school releases early each Friday.  For more information regarding tuition and schedules, please click the link below to register online.
