Back to School Bash

During your sign-up process, please indicate you need a translator in your native language. We try to accommodate by hiring translators to assist families throughout the Bash.

The only requirement is to be a Nixa Public Schools student in Kindergarten to 12th grade who needs assistance. Once you sign up, all we ask is that you please arrive at your scheduled time.

Due to our limited amount of resources, we are only able to accommodate Nixa students. If you need assistance but attend another school district, please get in touch with your child's school district.

The deadline will be Wednesday, June 25, 2025. A cut-off is needed to be able to order all the necessary school supplies and have them on hand for the bash.

We ask that you sign up for the Bash via Google Forms.

Once signed up, please arrive at your scheduled time, which will be communicated to you via email in July. We want to ensure we have enough volunteers ready to assist families during their appointments.

We will follow up with you a couple of months before the event to get any updated information from you and your student. If anything has changed, including shoe sizes, please email backtoschoolbash@nixaschools.net.

Yes, you can still attend and pick up their supplies, even if your student is not present. We recommend they attend to try on shoes and pick out their supplies, however, it is not required. 

No, due to our limited amount of resources, we are only able to accommodate Nixa students who are in Kindergarten through 12th grade. 

Each student gets a backpack, hygiene supplies, basic school supplies (based on the student's grade level), clothes, a new pair of shoes, and additional resources. To view the list of what each grade level receives at the bash, Click Here.

Please note that we are unable to provide a complete list of all school supplies needed for each school. We have limited resources to supply up to 1,000 students with back-to-school supplies. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are unable to attend your appointment time, please email backtoschoolbash@nixaschools.net. We can potentially find another time slot for you during the day.

We will contact everyone via email who signed up for the Bash by mid-July, alerting them of their appointment time.
