What is SchoolPass?

SchoolPass is an online safety tool designed for public schools. The SchoolPass platform keeps parents and guardians informed and in control, empowering the schools to be able to make confident decisions and ensure their students' safety. SchoolPass offers many features, however, we as a school district are focused on a visitor management system, which will provide an extra area of comfort and communication for staff, teachers, parents, and students. 

All visitors and guests to our buildings will be required to sign in. Parents will have their own QuickPins assigned to them. All other visitors and guests will be asked to present state-issued photo identification that will be scanned into our system to generate a visitor log. We have opted to implement this system so that we have a quicker and more efficient way of knowing who is present and not present in the building during emergency situations.
