Which bus does my child ride?

Bus information will be available in the parent portal. If your child(ren) rode the bus last year, the bus information in the portal should be accurate. However, if changes to last year’s bus service are made through the current student registration process (new address, need bus service, no longer need bus service), the information will be updated as it is received by Alliance Bus Company and may not be immediately up to date.

Transportation information is located on the PowerSchool Parent Portal under "Transportation Info." This information will NOT be available in the stock PowerSchool App. It will be located in the PowerSchool app icon on the Nixa Public Schools App or on the PowerSchool Parent Portal link below.

How to view bus information on PowerSchool

• Step 1: Log into your PowerSchool parent portal. To get there you can try either of the following:
• In a browser on your phone or another internet connected device, enter powerschool.nixaschools.net/public
• If you’ve downloaded the NPS App on your phone there is a tile there that will take you to the log in screen. It shows PS.
• Step 2: The stock PowerSchool App which has the logo crossed out below, will not display any bussing information.
• Step 3: Enter your username and password in the spaces provided on the log in screen and select the Sign In button.
• Step 4: On the Navigation menu (left), Transportation info is near the bottom.
  • There is a yellow school bus icon associated with it.
• Step 5: The transportation information for your student should be displayed.
  • The regular year bus information will have Start and End Dates for the 25-26 school year of 08/11/2025 to 05/22/2026
