Jr High Announcements - Posted August 5, 2020 - Info for 2020/2021 NJH Students


7th Grade News:  orientation will be on Tuesday, August 18, from 12:30-3:30 pm.   This will be followed by a schedule run through from 3:30-4:30.   If parents have question you may email our 7th grade counselor,


8th Grade News:  schedule pick up will be on Tuesday, August 18, from 4:30-6:00 pm.  If parents have any questions you may email our 8th grade counselor,  If you need to verify your required vaccinations are up to late email or call 724-6410.


Fall sports (volleyball tryouts, football practices, cross country practices) begin on August 17th.  If you need to verify the validity of your MSHSAA sports physical please email or call 724-6425.   

  • Volleyball:  8th grade and 7th grade - Tryouts will be August 17-20 and no cost for those.
  • Cross Country inquiries need to be emailed to 
  • Football Info:  7th coach:;  8th grade coach:  Gear will be handed out the first week of practice.  Athletes need to provide their own cleats and girdle pads (that inclues a hip & tail pad).  Athletes will need to provide their own combination lock.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

School pictures will be on Thursday, August 27th beginning 1st hour.  The make up date will be Thursday, October 1.


Girls Basketball: October 12-18 will be DEAD PERIOD prior to tryouts.  Tryouts will be Oct 19-21 in the Fema gym with 1st cuts made on Oct 20 and 2nd cuts on Oct 21.  No charge to tryout.   To contact coaches with questions: for 8th graders and for 7th graders.
