What type of damage is considered cosmetic and not covered by ACER?

Back to FAQ Listings

ACER considers damage to be cosmetic if it does not impact the operation of the device nor the case.  Examples include: scratches on the plastic case or slight imperfections in the casing as long as they do not interfere with the opening and closing of the unit.  If in doubt, the student can have the technology staff member at their building assess his/her device.
